Stargirl Book Cover Redesign

This was a book cover redesign for the book Stargirl by Jerry Spinelli.

Electric Matchsticks

I used matchsticks to spell out the word "electric" and edited the colors on Photoshop.

Character Design

Character design based on the Tamagotchi character Sabotenshi, which is a cactus angel. I changed it to purple, added the happy face and added the cute flower on her head! Done in Illustrator.

Inside Specimen Book My first ever book design! I chose Century Gothic because of it’s unique, geometric look.

Band Man

I wanted to create a unique piece of art that combined some of my favorite punk bands. The bands include: Black Flag, Descendents, Siouxsie Sioux and the Banshees, Misfits, Minor Threat, Bass Drum of Death and Tragedy.

This is how I feel when designing. Not so much confused as the first little guy, but stretching my creative muscles to try to create something that makes me go, “YES! That is an awesome idea, Kristine! I strive to make things as unique as I possibly can!

Typogram

This is a typogram. A typogram is a word that, through the manipulation of the letterform itself, illustrates the meaning of the word. This was an exercise in my Typography class. They are one of my favorite kinds of design because they are fun and creative; just like me!
